World Trade Center Recycling Center

Ten to thirteen tons of waste from five office buildings - the World Trade Center One, Two, Four, Five and the Vista Hotel - are recycled here each day into nine different grades of paper. Sorters come from the Grand Central Partnership Social Services; the oldest employee has worked here for 16 years. This year - a good one for paper prices - the center will generate half a million dollars in revenue.
