Under Grand Central Station Lamine, a "client" in a section of the underground called Burma Road because of the heat and noise that comes from the steam pipes, is awakened by Captain Henry. Henry has worked for several years with the homeless, helping clean out the station and get people into outreach programs. In 1989 fifty people lied in the station's tunnels; all have since left. |
