| Olivier Laude Creative Director |
Born and raised in France, Laude moved
to the US at age 15 to continue his
education. One of the things he loves
about the development of the web is how
it makes the transmission of ideas more
accessible to everyone. "The web levels
the playing field and isn't calcified,"
Olivier says. "It tells me that, to a
certain degree, the American Dream still
exists and that in one shape or another
it's always being reinvented." |

| Amy Franceschini Senior Designer |
Amy, 26, grew up on a farm in
California's San Joaquin Valley and now
runs her own Future Farmers of America
- only this FFA is a design company. "I
think one day I will want to be a
farmer, too," she explains. "I'm
interested in sustainable communities.
And now that I have a certain voice in
the design community, I hope to include
more things in my graphics that speak
to the issues of farming and the plight
of small, privately owned farms." |
|
| Michael Macrone Technology Director |
With degrees in mathematics and semiotics from Brown University and a
Ph.D. in literature from University of California Berkeley, 36-year-old
Macrone is wonderfully, eclectically suited as the self-taught webmaster for
@tlas - combining strengths in philosophy, logic, storytelling and
symbolic manipulation. "I suppose my training indirectly has prepared me for
this," he notes. Macrone is also the author of nine books - titles include
Brush Up Your Poetry and Naughty Shakespeare - which he describes as
"entertaining guides to Western culture for educated people who would like to
know a bit more about the classics." |
